Chenglin Wangso

Born and raised in Nangqian, Yushu, Qinghai, Chenglin Wangso is a native of the Tibetan Plateau with a deep connection to the landscapes, wildlife, and pastoral traditions of the Sanjiangyuan region.

With more than a decade of experience in nature guiding, ecotourism, and wildlife observation, Chenglin has spent years leading expeditions and outdoor programs deep into the remote landscapes of Yushu. He has an intimate knowledge of the region’s terrain and roads, as well as its high-altitude wildlife, including Snow Leopards, Tibetan Foxes, and Tibetan Antelopes.

An enthusiastic wildlife photographer and nature observer, Chenglin is particularly interested in documenting the ecology of the Sanjiangyuan and sharing its natural and cultural stories. His guiding brings together wildlife watching, ecological photography, Tibetan pastoral culture, and high-altitude landscapes, while encouraging visitors to travel responsibly and respect the fragile environment of the Tibetan Plateau.
